Plastic Future Re-Imagine Project

Plastic Future Re-Imagine Project

"Plastic Future Re-Imagine Project" This painting is to represent a landscape based in the future of what it will look like if we continue on our current trajectory of plastic waste. This painting is designed to be almost grotesque to look at, and unappealing to people. This is all demonstrated through having plastic bottles and plastic bags scattered all over the place, as well as having the sky a gloomy dark colour, filled with clouds and little amounts of blue showing through. It also shows no change for the future, as the building is still pummelling out smoke, showing the reliance we have built up on these fuels. You can also see the grass has almost died, and the trees are practically dead already.

Clean Future Re-Imagine Project

"Clean Future Re-Imagine Project" This painting is to represent a landscape based in the future of what it will look like if we make a large effort to be more reliant on renewable energy sources. This painting is designed to be a pretty, attractive site that is appealing to people. This is all demonstrated through having the really green grass with flowers on it, as well as the blue sky and sunshine, you can also see the duck on the canal which is showing a return of the animals to live more freely. It also shows a large change for the future, as the building has stopped producing smoke, and is using more renewable energy sources. You can also see the grass is all green and super lush, and the trees are all appealing to look at.
